Israel Kills Yahya Sinwars Former Bodyguard and Second Terrorist in Gaza Strikes

The IDF confirmed the deaths of two Hamas terrorists, including Yahya Sinwar's former bodyguard, in separate Gaza airstrikes for their Oct. 7 attack.

Jerusalem, 27 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Two Hamas terrorists who participated in the October 7 attack at an army base on the Gaza border were Killed in separate aKhan Yunis airstrikes, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on Thursday.

Hazem Musa, a member of Hamas’ elite Nukhba Force was killed a strike on Sunday. Razak Suhail Suleiman Abu Shahama, another Nukhba member who was also Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar’s bodyguard, was killed on Monday.

Both participated in the attack on the Re’im military base on the Gaza border on October 7, 2023.
