Jerusalem, 17 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A 21-year-old Israeli tourist has been arrested in the Cypriot resort town of Ayia Napa on suspicion of attempted murder following a nightclub fight on Wednesday.

The altercation reportedly involved two Israeli tourists and three Cypriots, though the cause remains unclear.

The injured include two 22-year-olds, one aged 25, and one aged 41. A 22-year-old Cypriot is in serious condition, while the others sustained lighter injuries. The second 22-year-old Israeli tourist was hospitalized with head and facial injuries. Some of those injured are believed to be employees who intervened.

A second suspect may be arrested, according to local reports.
