Jerusalem, 17 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Matricelf Ltd., a Tel Aviv-based regenerative medicine company, has completed a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) safety study for its engineered neural tissue implant for spinal cord injury, moving it closer to a first-in-human clinical trial.
The study, conducted on 248 animals over a 39-week period, found no treatment-related toxicity, tumor formation, or implant migration. The results support the safety profile of the personalized therapy, which uses patient-derived cells and biomaterials.
