Jerusalem, 27 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Sixty new immigrants from the United States and Canada landed at Ben Gurion Airport on Thursday as part of an initiative to facilitate immigration to Israel.
Additional flights are scheduled to arrive later Thursday, bringing the total number of new immigrants expected to arrive in Israel as part of the operation to 121.
The immigrants arrived on an El Al flight organized jointly by Nefesh B’Nefesh, which assists North American immigrants moving to Israel; Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah and Integration; the Jewish Agency for Israel, which helps facilitate Jewish immigration; Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (KKL), an Israeli environmental organization; and Jewish National Fund-USA.
