The IDF eliminated a platoon commander in the Hamas terrorist organization who infiltrated Israeli territory in the October 7th massacre. The IDF attacked earlier today (Thursday) in the northern Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist.

Throughout the war and recently, Riyad had been involved in training terrorists and attempting to advance terror plots against IDF forces and civilians of the State of Israel. The terrorist posed a threat to our forces operating in the Gaza Strip and was eliminated in a precise aerial strike. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
