Further to the discussion held in the High Court of Justice yesterday and the directive received, a Home Front Command team conducted a professional and in-depth examination regarding the exemption of gatherings at several locations in the area.

The inspection included field tours, examination of the relevant standard protected spaces for holding gatherings, examination of additional civilian uses of these spaces, and assessment of additional risks. The tours were conducted by home front officers and certified protection engineers. According to the recommendations formulated by the professionals, it was decided to approve an exception for gatherings of up to 150 participants in Habima Square in Tel Aviv. Contrary to the claims, the position was coordinated with the Military Advocate General’s Corps. The position was transferred by the Military Advocate General’s Corps to the High Court Petitions Department so that it would be conveyed through the accepted channels.
