As part of the flyover, ‘Sufa’ (F-16I) fighter jets flew over Mount Herzl and Mount Pilot, located near Jerusalem. As is customary in salute flyovers in memory of the fallen, a missing man formation was performed, during which one of the aircraft left the formation as a salute to the fallen who risked their lives for the defense of the State of Israel and are no longer with us. In addition, this morning (Tuesday), another salute flyover took place, during which ‘Adir’ (F-35I) fighter jets flew over Mount Herzl and Mount Pilot, located near Jerusalem. At 13:00, a salute flyover will take place in memory of the victims of hostile acts, in which ‘Sufa’ (F-16I) fighter jets will participate.
