Earlier today (Friday), forces of the 99th Division operating in the central Gaza Strip identified a terrorist from the Hamas terror organization, armed with a knife, approaching the demarcation line with the intention of crossing it. The forces monitored the terrorist, and after he crossed the demarcation line, he was taken for interrogation in Israeli territory. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
