Combat Team forces in the 36th Division have begun a targeted raid to eliminate terrorists and destroy Hezbollah terrorist organization’s terror infrastructure in the southern Lebanon area overnight (Sunday).

As part of the raid, forces are operating to locate and attack terror infrastructure and eliminate terrorists in southern Lebanon. Before the forces entered, massive fire was activated and many terror targets in the area were attacked from the air and from the ground. This operation is part of the effort to establish a forward defense that will create an additional layer of security for the residents of the North. The IDF will continue to operate with force against the Hezbollah terror organization, which has decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to the citizens of the State of Israel.
