Holon Hospital Treated 548 Casualties During Iran Fighting

Wolfson Medical Center in Holon treated 548 casualties during 38 days of fighting, with 84 children and 160 seniors among them.

Jerusalem, 9 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — With the end of 38 days of fighting, the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon is returning to normal operations, after an intensive period in which the hospital teams operated on the front lines of medical care.

During the period, 800 births were recorded in the hospital’s protected underground complex. Evidence of the intensity of life and continuity even in times of emergency.

During the fighting, 548 casualties arrived at the Wolfson Medical Center, of whom 84 were children and teenagers under the age of 18 and 160 were 65 and over.
Of the patients, 174 were residents of Holon and 160 were residents of Bat Yam, and the rest were residents of other cities in the area.
