Jerusalem, 30 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported an 8.5% increase in Industrial production – manufacturing, mining and quarrying – in the second quarter of 2026.
The was also a 0.4% increase in jobs and the number of work hours was stable.
In addition, sales revenue from exports at constant prices saw a 12.8% increase and sales revenue for the domestic market at constant prices increased by 5.9%.
Production in industry, excluding mining, quarrying, and high-tech technology, increased by 0.8% and in high-tech sectors increased by 13.4%.
