Average Salary in Israel Rose 7.7% in June, CBS Reports

Jerusalem, 6 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that the average monthly salary for a salaried position at current prices was 15,218 shekels ($4,476) in June 2026, an increase of 7.7% compared to 14,132 shekels in June 2025.

At constant prices, adjusted for the consumer price index, the average salary was 12,114 shekels ($3,563), up 5.9% year-on-year from 11,435 shekels.

The number of salaried jobs reached 4.219 million, an increase of 1.2% compared to May 2026 and 2.1% compared to June 2025.
