Jerusalem, 8 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced that 12 British elected officials and one activist will be barred from entering Israel, as part of retaliatory measures following UK Sanctions on Israeli towns in Judea and Samaria.

The list includes MPs Jeremy Corbyn, Zarah Sultana, Naz Shah, Diane Abbott, Hannah Spencer, Carla Denyer, Sian Berry, Ellie Chowns, John McDonnell, Richard Burgon, and Adrian Ramsay, along with Fahad Ansari, director of the pro-Palestinian group Riverway to the Sea.

Israeli officials said several of those listed have campaigned for ending British arms sales to Israel and for expanded sanctions over the Gaza war.
