Cohen-Dar currently serves as non-resident ambassador to Slovenia and Malta and has previously held diplomatic posts in Washington, Vienna and Warsaw.
The move follows Israel’s decision to open an embassy in Slovenia, expanding bilateral relations established in 1992.
