Violence Incident in East Jerusalem Six Suspects Arrested, Three Officers Lightly Injured Jerusalem District Police officers and Border Police fighters were dispatched a short time ago to the Silwan neighborhood in the east.

Upon the forces’ arrival at the scene, dozens of suspects began to riot and throw stones at the police officers, who responded by using means and firing into the air, after their safety was feared. So far, six suspects involved in the riots and the assault on the officers have been arrested and transferred for investigation at the Shalem station. Three police officers were lightly injured. Police forces acted to restore public order and control the incident.
