Jerusalem, 8 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli police have arrested three suspects in connection with a fragmentation grenade attack on a branch of the Japanika restaurant chain in Rosh Pinna, in northern Israel, on July 15, 2026.

Northern District police responded to the scene and opened an investigation, which was later upgraded to an open case on August 7. Officers subsequently arrested two suspects from northern Israel and one from the central region on suspicion of involvement in the attack targeting the business.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident. Police have not disclosed a motive or further details on the suspects’ alleged connection to the restaurant chain.
