Police Ready for 22nd Maccabiah Games

Jerusalem, 28 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — the Jerusalem Police District said it has completed its operational preparations for the opening ceremony of the 22nd Maccabiah Games, expected to take place at Teddy Stadium July 1, 2026, and for the sporting events that will be held in the city. The games will end on July 14.

Police forces and volunteers will be deployed at various focal points and near the sports facilities where Maccabiah events will take place, in order to ensure public safety, maintain public order, secure the participants, and direct traffic.
