Over half a ton of pirate gas was seized in balloons stored dangerously during an operation in Daliyat al-Karmel and Usfiya today.

According to suspicion, the suspect imports gas cylinders from Judea and Samaria and stores them behind his house and in a warehouse, without a license and without safety measures, and markets the cylinders to customers without them having undergone the required safety tests. These actions constitute a danger to the environment and to users of the gas cylinders. All cylinders were confiscated and transferred to the custody of the Gas Authority.
