Israeli citizen Joseph Kuperschmidt extradited from Serbia to Israel for suspected human trafficking. He allegedly conspired to bring women for prostitution.

Jerusalem, 29 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Joseph Kuperschmidt, wanted for questioning in Israel on suspicion of bringing women to Israel for the purpose of prostitution, has been extradited from Serbia to Israel.

Kuperschmidt, it is suspected, conspired with others – who have since been prosecuted in Israel – to bring women to Israel from their countries of origin, for the purpose of employing them, as mentioned, in providing sexual services.
