Jerusalem, 6 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police Outstanding Personnel Award Ceremony for 2026 was held Sunday at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem, where certificates of excellence were awarded to 30 officers selected for exceptional achievements, professionalism, courage, and contributions to public safety.
The honorees represent a broad spectrum of police operations, including tactical operators, detectives, investigators, intelligence personnel, bomb disposal officers, community police officers, technology specialists, communications personnel, and headquarters staff. Of the 30 recipients, 23 serve in field positions and seven in headquarters roles, comprising 12 officers and 18 non-commissioned officers, including 27 men and three women reflecting diverse religions and communities across Israeli society.
Recognitions included officers who showed bravery in operational incidents, investigators who led complex inquiries, tactical operators who acted at risk to their lives, intelligence personnel who contributed to thwarting threats, community officers who strengthened public trust, and personnel behind innovative developments within the force.
