Jerusalem, 20 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A 20-year-old Bat Yam man is suspected of targeting six girls, ages 13 to 17, on social media over approximately 18 months, demanding intimate photographs and threatening them and their families when they refused.
Police say the suspect sometimes posed as a minor while contacting the girls. The alleged activity began in early 2025 and continued until June 2026.
The investigation was launched after a report was submitted to the police’s 105 hotline in June. Investigators at the Bat Yam station in the Ayalon District subsequently identified and arrested the suspect.
Police also suspect the man committed sexual offenses against minors. Following the investigation, prosecutors submitted a statement indicating their intention to file an indictment, which is expected in the coming days.
The case remains under investigation, and the allegations against the suspect have not been proven in court.
