Upon identification by the fighters and their call to stop, the suspects began to flee towards the adjacent compound and attempted to barricade themselves inside. The fighters acted to secure the compound and locate the suspects. Simultaneously, several suspects attempted to escape the scene but were apprehended after a foot chase. In total, 18 illegal residents were apprehended during the operation. The vehicle’s driver, a resident of Lod in his 30s, was detained on suspicion of transporting illegal residents, and his vehicle was seized for investigative purposes. The suspects and the driver were transferred for further investigation at the Lod station.
