Jerusalem, 2 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli cybersecurity company Act Security has acquired Cloud Copilot, an open-source toolkit for managing Amazon Web Services (AWS) access permissions. The acquisition comes one month after Act Security emerged from stealth with $60 million in funding.

Cloud Copilot was created by David Kerber, who will join Act Security. The company will use the technology as the foundation for Amphi, a free, open-source suite of seven tools designed to help cloud engineers test and manage access policies before deploying them to production.

Amphi can simulate policy decisions, identify effective permissions and analyze AWS environments. The tools will remain free and open source, with browser and command-line interfaces.

Act Security was founded in 2025 by Israelis Jonathan Langer, Itay Kirshenbaum, Stephan Goldberg and Ilai Fallach.
