Jerusalem, 14 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli medical device company IceCure Medical has received regulatory approval from China’s National Medical Products Administration to market its ProSense cryoablation system and associated cryoprobes in China.
Based in Caesarea, IceCure develops minimally invasive technology that uses liquid nitrogen to destroy tumors by freezing them, offering an alternative to surgical tumor removal. The ProSense system is primarily used in treating breast, kidney, bone and lung tumors and is already marketed in the United States, Europe and parts of Asia.
