Israeli AR Company Lumus Signs Manufacturing Deal With Chinas Crystal-Optech

Israeli augmented reality company Lumus has signed a manufacturing deal with China's Crystal-Optech to produce waveguides for AR glasses.

Jerusalem, 10 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — )Israeli augmented reality technology company Lumus announced a new manufacturing agreement with China’s Crystal-Optech to produce geometric waveguides for augmented reality (AR) glasses.

The partnership expands Lumus’ global supply chain into China as demand for consumer AR eyewear grows. Crystal-Optech, a Chinese precision-optics manufacturer, has shipped more than 30 billion components and operates production facilities in China and Vietnam. The company has worked with Lumus since 2011 and is also an investor in the Israeli firm.

Crystal-Optech joins Taiwan’s Quanta Computer and Germany’s SCHOTT as Lumus manufacturing partners.
