Jerusalem, 22 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli-founded RealSense, a computer-vision company spun out of Intel, has been acquired in a deal valued at approximately $600 million, just 14 months after becoming independent.
RealSense completed its spinout from Intel in July 2025 and immediately raised $50 Million in Series A funding.
The company develops AI-powered depth cameras and vision systems that allow robots and other machines to understand their surroundings in three dimensions. Its technology is used in autonomous mobile robots, humanoid robots, industrial automation, healthcare, and biometric security.
RealSense said its cameras are embedded in about 60% of autonomous mobile robots and humanoids and that it serves more than 3,000 customers worldwide.
CEO Nadav Orbach, whose team includes Israeli executives and engineers, says the rapid exit highlights investor interest in computer vision and physical AI, as robotics companies increasingly require machines capable of navigating and interacting with the real world.
