The fourth meeting of the Joint Economic Commission between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Israel took place on 20 November 2025 in Jerusalem, co-chaired by Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Israeli Minister Zeev Elkin.

Both sides highlighted the strong strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and israel and the expanding cooperation since the opening of Azerbaijan’s embassy in Israel in 2023. The Azerbaijani delegation of about 30 senior officials held sector-specific discussions with their Israeli counterparts to advance collaboration across multiple fields.

The meeting reviewed progress in bilateral ties and reaffirmed commitments to deepen cooperation in trade, energy, cyber, technology, agriculture, water, health, transportation, innovation, space, education, science, tourism, and more. The parties noted the significant growth in bilateral trade.

The delegations expressed satisfaction with the Commission’s achievements and agreed to continue strengthening intergovernmental dialogue. The fifth meeting of the Joint Economic Commission will take place in Baku in 2027.
