The terrorist infiltrated the territory of the State of Israel in the October 7th massacre. During the war, and particularly in the recent period, the terrorist operated to plant explosives throughout the Gaza Strip with the aim of harming our forces. The terrorist advanced terror plans against IDF forces and civilians of the State of Israel and worked to improve the operational readiness of the organization’s terrorists and to restore its capabilities, while systematically violating the ceasefire. The terrorist was eliminated in order to remove the threat he posed. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
